The Mystic Krewe of Amon-Ra strives to promote and preserve the artistic and social traditions of Gay Mardi Gras within our community.
Our Krewe\u2019s mission includes its role as a charitable organization promoting the social welfare of our citizens.\u00a0 We provide relief to the poor and distressed within the local New Orleans community and have accomplished this since 1965 by acquiring donations from the public through various fundraising activities.\u00a0
Additionally, The Mystic Krewe of Amon-Ra provides support and funds to other similarly situated qualified charitable organizations. <\/p>\n
All legitimate Carnival Krewe Organizations also hold a legal state charter. <\/em><\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t The Mystic Krewe of Amon-Ra raises money to produce its Annual Gay Mardi Gras Ball through yearly fundraisers, socials, and other events in and around the New Orleans Community.\u00a0<\/p>\n Most of\u00a0 our Krewe’s yearly fundraisers & events coincide with the New Orleans gay community events & national holidays: Many of the venues that host the Krewes Events are Annual Sponsors of the Krewe.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t The Mystic Krewe of Amon-Ra is a Non-Profit Gay Organization anything you may wish to contribute can be tax exempt.\u00a0 We are a 501(c)3, EIN: 81-4701619<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t Have any questions?
